Fox News vs. Neil Young: 9/11, 9/11, 9/11

Mr. Gibson,

I just read your piece on Neil Young's new album ("Neil Young and Pink Blame Wrong Leaders", FOXNews.com, April 28, 2006). Does Mr. Young's new album say anything about the war on Afghanistan? Your references to Flight 93 and bin Laden lead me to believe that Living With War must be about the war in Afghanistan, since we all know—and the Bush administration has even admitted—that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with the terrible events of September 11, 2001. I was under the impression the Neil Young's album was about the war in Iraq, but I guess I'm wrong. Thanks for correcting me. Fucking Canadians!

Sincerely,
Jake Brown

I liked when he name checked the 60's for cool points. Here's a question, are protest songs relevent anymore? Has politics in music become a turn off rather than a rallying cry?
