Running Out of Gas

One year to the day after President Bush signed into law the energy policy that resulted in billions in tax giveaways to oil, natural gas, and coal industries, the results are in. Instead of the promised relief at the pump, the price of gas has steadily risen since the day the bill was signed. All the while, oil companies post record profits.

Does anyone remember when it was put forth that the Iraqi war would be paid for via petrodollars that would be coming to the U.S.? Another one that evidentally worked out really well for us. . . .
