Ties Between GOP and Terror Groups? Why Not?

A New York man who donated more than $15,000 to House Republican races has been charged with financing terrorism, material support of terrorism, and money laundering. Does this constitute a "working relationship" between the GOP and terrorists, a la Iraq and al Qaeda?

According to the AP, Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari, also known as Michael Mixon, gave donations ranging from $500 to $5,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee. He is also said to have "accepted an unspecified amount of money to transfer $152,000 to Pakistan and Afghanistan to support an Afghanistan terrorist training camp. He also stands accused of causing the transfer of about $25,000 from a bank account in New York to an account in Montreal, money the government says was to be used to provide material support to terrorists."

He now faces 95 years in prison if convicted.

An online resume apparently lists "references previous connections to the Republican Party."

That's already more than Doug Feith could prove about "working relationships" between Iraq and terrorist groups, an argument that was key to the rationale behind our invading Iraq. Nice...

Looks like we need a regime change in the GOP!

They are a growing threat and we don't want the smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud, do we!?!?!
