Senate Ethics Committee investigates Domenici

The senate has adopted a resolution - S. Res. 153 - instructing the Senate Select Committee on Ethics to investigate Senator Domenici's role in getting U.S. Attorney David Iglesias fired. First, Domenici recommened Iglesias for the position. Then, he personally asked the president to have him dismissed.

And Domenici has lawyered up with none other than Lee Blalack (not to be confused with Bob Boblaw), the gentleman who defended former Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham in his bribery case. Which, if you'll recall, he got 8 years for.
