Senior Wolfowitz deputy asks him to step down
Not such a good week for Paul Wolfowitz, either. In a meeting of World Bank vice presidents on Wednesday, Graeme Wheeler, who is one of Wolfowitz's top deputies in the Bank, asked him to resign. Wheeler is a highly respected civil servant within the Bank, whose support (or not) for Wolfowitz carries a lot of weight.
