Bush refuses to address Ashcroft hospital visit
Want to be embarrassed as an American? Watch Bush in action, evading answering a reporter's question about whether or not he ordered former Chief of Staff Andy Card and then White House Counsel Alberto Gonzales to the bedside of a recovering John Ashcroft, in an attempt to get him to sign off on warrantless eavesdropping on American citizens:
In the past, Bush has acknowledged that his eavesdropping program violates the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Which makes his actions an impeachable offense. But, as far as the Dems are concerned, impeachment is not "on the table." That's too bad.
