Meanwhile, back in France...
While the Republican party and conservatism in general are imploding here in the states, the French elected Nicolas Sarkozy as President this weekend. The White House was ecstatic. If they can't win hearts and minds here anymore, at least the French are supporting them. Or conservatism, at least.
