Apparently, earlier this summer, somebody wrote a blog comment about shooting Rush Limbaugh and Ted Nugent, if it ever became legal. I know what you're thinking. Weird combination, right? Those two don't usually pop up in my head together.

Well, Sean Hannity was quite upset by this, and so had his good buddy Ted on the show on July 12th. They talked about how vile and hateful the left could be, and the Nuge waxed philosophically:

You know, I'm an American. I love all Americans. And I would help any American pursue their dreams and their pursuit of happiness.
But you find that the left, there's a lunatic fringe on the left that literally are trying to force us to comply to their outline of life. And I find it just reprehensible that they would recommend violence, not to mention murder and shooting people and assassinating people. This is bizarre.

According to this Raw Story piece, though, the Nuge also had this to say at a recent stop in his Love Grenade tour.

"Obama, he's a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun," Nugent said in front of a screaming crowd as he brandishes what appear to be two large assault rifles. ... "Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset you worthless bitch," Nugent said, brandishing his weapons.

He also went after Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), suggesting she, too, might like to "suck on my machine gun." Nugent's tirade against California's other Democratic Senator, Diane Feinstein, is too garbled to transcribe, but one can hear Nugent call her a "whore."

He really said that - they have video at Raw Story. And that's really the name of his latest record - Love Grenade. I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, but I'm sure it's brilliant. As luck would have it, he's thinking about running for governor. That should really bring the political discourse to a new level of civility. A new morning in Michigan.

Nuge is old old old. I bet, despite the "guns", that a fight between Nuge and Obama would be like two old ladies putting out fires on each other's tummies.

I don't know. Obama's pretty fit but the Nuge is a born killer. Could get ugly.
