"I hate all Iranians"
That's what Debra Cagan, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Coalition Affairs to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, had to say to a group of British Members of Parliament when they were visiting the Pentagon last month.
Which is quite comforting. I'm glad to know that the Bush administration has crack people like Cagan driving foreign policy. She demonstrates such nuance! No march towards another preemptive war here.
You really have to go to the Daily Mail article and see the picture of this woman [Ed. - now also available after the jump]. When I first saw it, I thought it had to be doctored. She looks like she's addressing a group of National Socialists in 1940s Germany. Whoah! The only thing that gives it away as a more recent picture is the design of the microphone she's using.
Ummmmm, wow...
