Rush Dumps on GOP

The biggest rat to jump the sinking ship of the Republican party is none other than blowhard pillhead Rush Limbaugh. It seems Rushbot is none-too-pleased with McCain pulling ahead in the GOP primaries and blames him and an uninspiring cast of candidates for fracturing the party.

"There was no figure in our roster of candidates who rose up to challenge him or galvanize conservative support," Limbaugh said on his daily radio program. "All the candidates on our side, for various reasons, are uninspiring or worse — and so, just as I predicted, the base has fractured."

The fact that he completely ignores Ron Paul, the only man running who actually represents traditional conservative (now called paleo-conservative, as opposed to neo-conservative) views, is proof that Rush is nothing more than a bloviating moron.

"The Republican establishment, which has long sought to rid the party of conservative influence since Reagan, is feeling a victory today as well as our friends in the media" said Limbaugh. I guess we can excuse Rush for not remembering the last 7 years of the Bush administration, what with the pill haze and all...

I love it.

There's a lot of discussion over at Salon.com about the tanking viewership of FOX News and the dismal ratings of FOX Business Channel. http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2008/01/31/fox_news/

The Right has done such a good job of misinforming itself that the Republicans can no longer offer real solutions to real problems.

What the hell does El Rushbo want anyway? McCain is the one who said that he wouldn't mind if we were in Iraq for another 100 years.
