White House Claims Email Records Lost in Hardware Destruction
Here's why it's important to have an independent Justice Department:

In an attempt to thwart a federal court's plan to recover "lost" emails, the White House disclosed that older workstations are routinely sent offsite for destruction. That, of course, is a red herring as we couldn't care less about workstations but NEED to seize email servers and get forensic IT specialists in there to recover the data.
Given the track record of the DOJ during the Bush tenure, that's unlikely to happen and so these criminals will get away with destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice...again.
Wake me when this nightmare is over.
