Apparently Britney Spears is a registered Republican and Paris Hilton's parents have donated the maximum allowable to the McCain campaign. Seems like the people making the McCain ads really know how to take care of their constituency.
The Obama people have a problem if they're to go after McCain in the same manner, given the recent passing of Estelle Getty.*
Disclaimer: I am not familiar with the late Ms. Getty's political leanings, nor am I practicing callous ageism here. But ask yourself this: Just who would the foil be to McCain in such an attack ad, assuming, of course, that we were to assume that he has some sort of status analogous to the one that his campaign is impugning Obama for having? Mr. Wayne Newton?
