Brown: McCain's Handling of Palin is Sexist
Tip from POLJUNK reader Dreamin' that we just had to bring to the front page: Campbell Brown lays into the McCain Campaign for seemingly sexist handling of Sarah Palin. Brown sees the McCain camp's iron curtain around their VP nomination as pure chauvinism.
"Tonight I call on the McCain campaign to stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower that will wilt at any moment," said Brown.
Do they think she can't handle it? This emerging narrative around her candidacy is taking hold and probably explains her sudden drop in favorability last week. Combine that with the emerging details and lack of cooperation from the Palins in this dopey Troopergate scandal and people may be wondering whether it's a good idea to have an interesting character, though intellectually incurious, secret monger in the White House...anymore.

The McCain campaign has effectively (and on at least one occassion, literally) said that the American people will find out all they need to know about Caribou Barbie from her few speeches and the debate. She doesn't need to answer any liberal reality-based questons!
