Electoral Map Shifts

CNN has updated their electoral map, giving Obama a solid 240 electoral votes to John McCain's 200. Most telling is the shift in swing states, especially Michigan, which CNN now has in the blue corner.

The breakdown:
Solid Obama: 240
Leaning Obama: 80
Toss Up: 98
Leaning McCain: 75
Solid McCain: 125

You need 270 to win and a tie goes to the House for President and Senate for Veep. Here's a nice piece from NPR's "Political Junky" Ken Rudin on what would happen in the event of a tie.
