Obama to Lobbyists, GOP: Bring It

In his weekly radio and video address, President Obama put out a challenge to those would try to oppose his budget proposals and work to reform various spending programs, specifically those tied to subsidies and tax breaks for health insurers, banks, and agribusiness. That includes lobbyists and Republicans.

"I know they're gearing up for a fight as we speak," he said. "My message to them is this: So am I."

Man, it seems like I can't remember the last time I heard a Democrat lay it on the line and call out the opposition like that. (Other than the last time I heard Obama speak...)
