NBC's Tom Brokaw conducted a brief interview with President Obama today as Obama and Elie Wiesel toured the grounds of the NAZI concentration camp at Buchenwald. Brokaw asked Obama if Iranian President Ahmadinejad might learn anything from the fact that Obama had visited Buchenwald and Obama replied that, "He should make his own visit... I have no patience for people who would deny history." That's an especially wieghty remark given that it is right on the heels of Obama's outreach tour of the Middle East.
Tomorrow is the 65th anniversary of the Allied "D-Day" invasion of Normandy. Obama will visit Normandy tomorrow.
